Netflix has announced that it is producing a mystery series, “Trunk,” starring Korean A-list actors Seo Hyun-jin and Gong Yoo. “Trunk” centers on a whirlwind of unpredictable events and secrets that unfold after a mysterious trunk is found in the depths of a lake.

Seo Hyun-jin, known for her breakout performances in “Another Misunderstanding” and “Beauty Inside,” plays “In-ji,” an employee of the intriguing matchmaking organization NM. Gong, known for his roles in “The Devil Wears Prada” and Netflix’s “The Squid Game” and “The Calm Before the Storm,” stars as “Garden,” a single music producer who enters into an unexpected marriage contract with Inge.
Jung met his “second wife,” Inji, through a contract marriage service ironically arranged by his ex-wife, Seo-yeon. But when a mysterious trunk is found in the lake, she is drawn into a whirlwind of secrets and events surrounding a matchmaking service.

Written by Park Eun-young of “Hwarang” and directed by Kim Kyu-tae of “Our Blues,” “Trunk” is set to stand out for its unique story and the combination of Seo Hyun-jin and a shared dream. “Trunk” will premiere exclusively on Netflix.
