Review of Newzine’s new song ‘ETA’
‘ETA’, a new song by a group called Newzine, was recently released. “ETA” is short for Estimated Time of Arrival, and it’s an exciting yet relaxing (?) piece of music that creates an immediate sense of anticipation in the listener. I’ve included a link to the video at the end of this post so you can watch it at the end.
Lyrics and music videos
The lyrics of this song are well paired with a catchy melody that is both familiar and easy on the ears. The “ETA” choreography is also a combination of hip-hop and jersey club dance moves, making them unique and trendy in their own right.
The music video was shot on an iPhone 14 Pro, giving it a crisp, clear picture quality. The music video for “ETA” features the members of NUJINS performing at a party and a story about a friend’s boyfriend who is with another woman. The music video begins with the members of Newzine witnessing their friend’s boyfriend approaching a strange woman at a party. In between, members capture him on their cell phone cameras and share them in real time with their friends. This leads to a story where an enraged friend drives to the scene. A car scene that races to the song’s hard, fast beat adds to the video’s sense of speed.
Working with Apple
The music video was created in collaboration with Apple, a global brand. The shoot, which was shot entirely on the iPhone 14 Pro, is part of Apple’s “Shoot with iPhone” campaign, the second iPhone shoot produced in South Korea.
Our special collaboration with them made this music video even better. As a result, the music video for “ETA” clearly demonstrated their artistic and innovative elements to the public.
“From the conceptualization stage, we had three title songs, so we wanted to try something new with one of them to give consumers a fun experience,” says Min Heejin, who oversaw the production.
