Early warning posts on the internet

The first announcement read, “I will go on a rampage with a weapon near Ori Station on Friday, August 4, between 6pm and 10pm. I have no desire to live and will harm as many people and police as possible.” The author of the article chose the location near Ori Station on the Suinbundang Line because “my ex-girlfriend lives there, and I wanted someone she knew to be affected.”

The post spread through mommy cafes and other online communities in the Bundang area, and a police report was filed.

The second post was published on the afternoon of the 3rd, in which the author posted a picture of a weapon and announced that he would “stab about 20 men” at Seohyun Station on Friday.
